Due to a recent wave of visitors of this blog, I feel compelled to give signs of life! The software is moving forward, although still in ALPHA-phase, a lot has happened since the last post. I will write more regularly when it becomes more public – the next step is slightly wider testing group.
I love your comments on this blog! But they don’t always provide enougn information such as reply addresses, thus I’ve set up an e-mail address if there is any inquiries, you can contact the project using vfxdesktop at gmail dot com.
Cheers!

Wow! I’ve just discovered the development of your software and I’m really excited about it!! It’s what I’ve looked for for years!!
I work in After Effects all the time and I’m very frustrated for the lack of a decent “desktop” where to look at the different versions of a project and different elements, just being able to playback them quick to compare results instead of opening the files once rendered. It’s for now a very frustrating workflow. It would be great to see an AE workflow with you VFXDesktop. It would be an instant must for everyone working in VFX.
I animate you to look forward about it! Thank you!

Hi, glad you like it
The import window in After Effects is a big reason for this project! It definitely helps to keep track of stuff, there’s no two-way communication, but you can send clips from vfxDesktop directly into a running instance of After Effects, which is simply a lot nicer than browsing!
